I'll be straight with you: I'm not a lifelong birder.

My mom used to watch birds at the feeder through binoculars on cold winter mornings. My best friend can ID a warbler by chip note in the dark. Me? I'm somewhere in between — a nature lover, a steward, someone who finds genuine wonder in the fact that a tiny bird just flew here from Panama.

WeSpeakBird started as a business idea. The deeper I researched birding culture, the more respect I gained for what sits at its center: unusually observant, deeply knowledgeable, quietly passionate people with their own language and their own humor.

You deserve better than generic nature merch.

So I set out to build something honest — apparel that speaks the language. Designs that a real birder would actually wear in the field, on a big day, or in the parking lot after a four-hour dip. Accuracy matters. Details matter. Birders notice.

1% of our proceeds goes directly to bird conservation. Not as marketing. Because the birds are the whole point.
